Farideh Kioumehr, DVM, MPH, DRPH, Dr.PH-Epidemiologist
Dr. Kioumehr is the Founder and Executive Director of the International Health and Epidemiology Research Center, and the innovative Anti-Violence Campaign that identifies violence as a preventable social epidemic disease in the United States.

She is a trained epidemiologist, and graduated from the University of Michigan, has served as the Director of the Health Planning Department of the National Plan and Budget Organization, has taught at Medical School and School of Public Health. She has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters, has been an invited guest speaker in many Academic settings, as well as many television and radio programs both domestically and abroad.

She has received numerous awards, including the very first "Peace Award" from the APHA and has received distinctions from President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Senators Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, LAUSD Board of education, and many more.

Elika Dadsetan, MA, JD

​Elika Dadsetan is an accomplished social development practitioner with a Law and Education professional background, a JD in Law, and a Master’s degree in Peace and Justice Studies (Conflict Resolution and Human Rights Advocacy). She possesses eight years of professional experience in diverse positions in the area of Juvenile Justice, Education, and Social Safeguarding in multicultural working environments, including a few years at the World Bank in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Elika has traveled to over 70 countries, and enjoys working on innovative education and child protection projects. She is fluent in English and Farsi, conversational in Spanish, has working knowledge level of Krio, and basic knowledge in French.

Barry S. Levy, M.D., M.P.H.

Barry Levy is a physician and epidemiologist and an Adjunct Professor of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a Past President of the American Public Health Association. He has spoken and written extensively on the adverse health consequences of war and terrorism. He is co-author, with Victor W. Sidel, M.D., of the books War and Public Health, Terrorism and Public Health, and Social Injustice and Public Health (all in their second editions), published by Oxford University Press.
